This is the second time in less than a week that I get this GPU Hang since I
updated to Ubuntu 15.10 with a Linux kernel 4.2.

Fortunately, the GPU reset recovers without any system reboot needed.

This happened while just surfing on the net with firefox.

uname:

Linux 4.2.0-17-generic #21-Ubuntu SMP x86_64

dmesg extract:

[70280.804135] [drm] stuck on render ring
[70280.805158] [drm] GPU HANG: ecode 3:0:0x717fffc1, in Xorg [992], reason:
Ring hung, action: reset
[70280.805161] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx
stack, including userspace.
[70280.805163] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org
against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[70280.805165] [drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right
component if it's not a kernel issue.
[70280.805167] [drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so
please always attach it.
