The problem is that I need to intercept backlight events handled by the SMC
(originating from backlight register writes in i915). Not sure how to do that
or if it's even doable. If I get that working I can upstream mba6x_bl and we
can close this bug. Doing tricks in i915 wouldn't make sense since this is an
Apple platform specific problem.
