I have tried the the kernel from ubuntu 15.10 but it still crashed (4.2.x)

I will try the 4.3 kernel when i reach the laptop in November 

Now is mostly stable with an old 4.0x rc kernel (where stable means vesa and no
acceleration and 800/600)
