dmesg - display-pm-rework branch

Hi Rodrigo,

No luck with the new branch: I can only type a few letters at the luks prompt
and then the screen freezes (same problem as before with the psrv6 branch). The
laptop is responsive though, I blindly logged in a VT to save dmesg's output.
