Yes, I'm aware we're running a 32-bit kernel on a 64-bit EFI, and as you said,
this is not a problem in itself. We had the same situation with 4.1 and during
my bisect, so I don't think it would make any difference.

After applying the patch you provided (attachment 118324) on top of a vanilla
4.2 and doing 20 boots (10 reboots and 10 cold boots) on each of the platforms,
I don't see the problem anymore.
