I did testing with several DP dongles and HDMI dongles and monitors with my
xps13. The conclusion from that is that everything works fine as long as HBR2
is disabled (either in hardware, some monitors can do that, or in software by
manually patching the intel-drm to not check for those speeds). Obviously this
greatly limits the maximum resolution and/or the number of monitors one can
connect.

I tested with kernels 4.4.3, 4.5.1 and 4.6.0 #201604152200 (nightly). Fully
updated TB3 firmware from Dell and everything working fine when I try in
windows to go.
