I applied the patch series upon drm-tip, commit
7955526172a2154393986eb78de44e61cabd81f3
and they work just fine! :-)

I rebooted and modprobe'd i915 seven-eight times, and it worked every time.

Thanks a lot!!

There were still some minor conflicts, different from rc8.
