Also tried it with Fedora Rawhide, running Kernel 4.9.

It's still automatically setting Broadcast RGB Limited 16:235, even though it
should be Broadcast RGB Full.

Again, this worked on Kernel 4.4. What has happened in between?

Also: Fedora is using Wayland.

On Wayland it does not seem to be possible to adjust Broadcast RGB via xrandr.

So, what can a user do here to change Broadcast RGB on Wayland?
