Confirmed. I use the DA200 (which doesn't have DP, only HDMI) and can only
output to screens with <1080p resolution with all kernels so far on Ubuntu
Xenial and FC24 + FC25 (right now on 4.8.13). VGA output works.

I think this issue is related to
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94567#c27.
