Currently I'm using this workaround which disables most of the hardware
acceleration

$ cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf 
Section "Device"
    Identifier  "Intel Graphics"
    Driver      "intel"
    Option        "DRI"    "false"
EndSection
