The actual valgrind errors are not worrying (one I've fixed already, the
read/write on the trailing byte I should fix one day, it's just a nuisance.)
The really interesting freeze though occurs outside of the display driver but
in the xf86-input-mouse driver. I don't suppose you could substitute the -evdev
driver for testing?
