I've the same blank screen problem on a different baytrail tablet. I've a bug
open for it. (#93799)

Christian: If you are still interested in this, you can try compiling and
running linux-next-20151012, as it works on my tablet without any further
patches. I haven't tried if the screen works for the 2nd time even after a
reboot. Later kernels I tried do not work, but I try only 1 linux-next each
month.
