So I believe with the patches to enable LPSS PWM, the backlight is working now
which was the main issue in this bug ? Now this has become a different problem
with display itself not coming up on surface 3. 

The display driver has generic support to enable any DSI panel. So there should
not be any specific code needed. The VBT has panel dependent information which
driver will use to enable it. Can you attach the VBT dump.
