Bug ID: 96989
Summary: Screen freeze when getting out of fullscreen from vlc,
youtube
Product: DRI
Version: unspecified
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: blocker
Priority: medium
Component: DRM/Intel
Assignee: intel-gfx-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: jinchoiseoul at gmail.com

file from /sys/class/drm/card0/error
Sometimes, when I get out of fullscreen from vlc, or youtube on chrome browser,
screen freezes for about 10 seconds(mouse pointer not moving, nor keyboard
working, none at all) and it comes back. Unfortunately, 1 out of 5, the whole
system doesn't come back. I mean, frozen for good. I can't even change to text
mode (ctrl+alt+F1). The only way is to cold reboot. (ctrl+alt+del nor anything
else work)
I don't know for sure how to reproduce the bug exactly, but it seems that the
longer I stay as fullscreen on video playing program, the more likely the bug
occurs.
Note: I don't know what Version I should select so I left it unspecified. And
basic information I think that matters are below:
