I had the same problem with my machine (Thinkpad X250, Intel(R) Core(TM)
i7-5600U). I'm using the Thinkpad Ultradock and the second screen which is
connected via DP flickered occasionally.
This is gone since I'm using the nightly build of last week's Tuesday (kernel
4.7.0-rc2, Commit bb3592f8f98bf02f85da4636f186773f43bc3a65).
