I saw gpu hung then got drm_kms_helper's kernel panic in you built kernel
4.4.5/i915 driver, but still could not get the whole picture of this issue due
to lacking context of full log.

May 05 16:50:38 erista.alterian.com kernel: [drm] drm/i915 developers can then
reassign to the right component if it's not a kernel issue.

What kind of OS (e.g. Ubuntu/version, Dell's enterprise Ubuntu system...etc.)
do you use for this issue? We need concrete information for analyzing it.

Could you please try the latest Ubuntu system like 15.04/16.04 to verify this
issue then upload collected log for our analyzing further? Please also use the
latest drm-intel-nightly to verify issue again.

We don't have your Dell docking system and cannot do analysis directly but only
based on your provided information.
