No no, that's fine. I know how to configure, build and install my own kernel.
Just wanted to make sure that the whole kernel was needed.

Could you tell me the correct git command? git clone
git://anongit.freedesktop.org/drm-intel-nightly gives me the following error 
fatal: remote error: access denied or repository not exported:
/drm-intel-nightly
