hdmi attached
Hi,
with 4.9.0-040900rc2-generic and video=DP-1:d video=DP-2:d video=HDMI-A-1:d
video=HDMI-A-2:d and no efifb and no hdmi attached, i915 does not seem to enter
a low powersave state: attachment hdmi_attached
Same setup, but with hdmi attached (gives me the efifb) and it will enter the
low powersave state, which remains even if I detach the hdmi after boot:
attachment hdmi_unattached
I am not sure this is due to the efifb present, or the HDMI present, because
settings are otherwise identical.
The difference in power is 0.3watt.
Thanks,
Fred
