            Bug ID: 98635
Summary: Incomplete frames in OpenGL video playback (DRI2 +
                    Tearfree, SNA Haswell)
           Product: xorg
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Driver/intel
          Assignee: chris at chris-wilson.co.uk
          Reporter: ccr at tnsp.org
        QA Contact: intel-gfx-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org

Using MPV OpenGL output for video on DRI2 with TearFree enabled, frames are
sometimes displayed with desktop visible, outside of the fullscreen-scaled
video image area (e.g. when for example 4:3 video is scaled to 16:9, padding
left on left and right of the image).

This does not seem to occur with TearFree disabled, nor with DRI3 (TearFree
enabled or not).

information.
