Recently I discover two patch sets for fixing backlight on Toshiba Click Mini
and  Nextbook Flexx 10.1.

Toshiba Click Mini patches, compiled kernel and detailed explanation about
DSDT: https://www.tinc-vpn.org/pipermail/click/2016-October/000347.html

Nextbook Flexx 10.1 patches that seems like doesn't require DSDT modification:
https://github.com/burzumishi/linux-baytrail-flexx10/tree/master/kernel/patches/v4.8

Try it, maybe this will work for your hardware.
