            Bug ID: 98018
Summary: Audio-over-DisplayPort stops when screen blanks
           Product: xorg
           Version: 7.7 (2012.06)
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Driver/intel
          Assignee: chris at chris-wilson.co.uk
          Reporter: inform at tiker.net
        QA Contact: intel-gfx-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org

Audio-over-DP works like a charm. Unfortunately, when the screen blanks, the
audio stops, which makes the feature somewhat less valuable than it could be.
Is there a possibility of keeping the audio connection alive while still
blanking the screen?

FWIW, this happens to me with a number of Dell monitors (with a P2715Q the one
I'm currently sitting in front of), connected via DP. I'm using Broadwell
hardware with the xserver-xorg-modesetting DDX.
