            Bug ID: 98228
Summary: [BAT IVB] HDMI *ERROR* EDID checksum is invalid
           Product: DRI
           Version: DRI git
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: DRM/Intel
          Assignee: intel-gfx-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: imre.deak at intel.com
        QA Contact: intel-gfx-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
                CC: intel-gfx-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org

The following error occurs on IVB after various IGT KMS tests during HDMI
detection:

[drm:drm_edid_block_valid] *ERROR* EDID checksum is invalid, remainder is 144

with varying remainder.

Just before this problem appeared in CI DRM 1701 build, a new HDMI monitor was
connected to the machine (Acer G6 Series G246HYL).
