Display switching to black screen from 23.976 hz to 50 hz

When switching from a 23.976 modeline back to 50 hz after e.g. movie playback
with xrandr, the screen turns black.

It only helps to reset the screen by either:
- Remove the HDMI plug and plug it back in
- Use ssh with: xrandr --output HDMI2 --off && xrandr --output HDMI2 --auto
