This issue looks visually very similar to
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95414 .. which in my case could be
circumvented by disabling TearFree. Perhaps it is not the exact same issue, but
might be worth trying to disable TearFree if you have it enabled?
