            Bug ID: 97923
Summary: [SKL] WARNING: CPU: 2 PID: 1526 at
                    drivers/gpu/drm/i915/intel_display.c:13554
                    intel_atomic_commit+0x1397/0x1450 [i915]
           Product: DRI
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: DRM/Intel
          Assignee: intel-gfx-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: viiru at iki.fi
        QA Contact: intel-gfx-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
                CC: intel-gfx-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org

I get repeated crashes on Linux 4.7.5 on SKL, the CPU is i7-6700HQ and the GPU
HD 530. This crashes X and drops me to the console, restarting X and attemping
to use it leads to an unrecoverable crash (the console will not return either,
but sysrq works). This happens when the system is idle and display power saving
is on. It can trigger when the display turns off, at a random time when the
display is off or when turning the display back on.

Here is the log output, the first line seems to repeat whenever this happens so
is probably related.
