I can confirm the 4.7.5 regression. Didn't test 4.8 yet. Same flickering
problem as for 4.6.x was https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95176 .
4.7.0 - 4.7.4 were ok in this regard. My hardware same as above (Intel
Broadwell 5500U).

I can only sum it up with the quote from Godfather part III:

"Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in" :)
