/sys/class/drm/card0/error dump file of the GPU hang
Hello.
Reporting as new bug as mentioned in dmesg. Probably a duplicate of my other
bug 98922 and some other bugs. Hard to tell for 98922 as I didn“t provide a
crash dump file there, so maybe just close the old bug.
[ 6994.506323] [drm] GPU HANG: ecode 6:0:0x85fffffc, in psclient.bin [3884],
reason: Hang on render ring, action: reset
[ 6994.506326] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx
stack, including userspace.
[ 6994.506327] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org
against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[ 6994.506328] [drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right
component if it's not a kernel issue.
[ 6994.506329] [drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so
please always attach it.
[ 6994.506329] [drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error
[ 6994.506360] drm/i915: Resetting chip after gpu hang
Kernel is self-built 4.9.20. Mesa is 17.0.0-rc2 still (stuck with it currently
due to incomplete newer package set in Debian experimental, could downgrade to
13 tough)
Thanks,
Martin
