Anyone can submit the patch for linux-stable review, does not need to be Chris.
But we do need someone to test and confirm the fix first. I don't have the
affected hardware.

Can anyone else test this and feed back?

Also, has anyone affected by this issue (other than Chris) tested drm-tip to
confirm that the freeze does not occur there?
