I have been exploring the possibility that Imres patch:

could affect this issue. I.e. if I couldn't reproduce this issue with Imres
patch applied, we could close this issue. However, yesterdays nightly run on my
BDW i5NUC, with: drm-tip: 2017y-04m-25d-14h-42m-59s UTC integration manifest,
panicked out and rebooted with the following backtrace in pstore logs:
