--- Comment #60 from shashank.sharma at intel.com <shashank.sharma at intel.com> ---
- If I was not clear, while I tested HDMI audio, that was using a HDMI cable
which is coming out of MCA LSPCON based HDMI port, and the audio was from HDMI
monitor speakers / Headphones. This is HDMI audio, and I don't see a reason why
would we relate anything else (like PCM audio) with this, and this is the only
thing related to LSPCON, and a Graphics team needs to think about. I am not
talking about on-board audio.
- Both SKL and BXT use MCA LSPCON MC2x00 series, and if this works for SKL, I
don't see a reason why not for BXT (until there is a HW failure).
- As BXT program was cancelled, we don't have any more BXT based boards
available to test on, all our LSPCON/GEN9 testing is being done on APL/SKL/KBL
NUCs and all are working well.
