Hi Ethan,

I see that both kernel logs you have attached are for 

kernel: [    0.000000] Linux version 4.10.0-21-generic 
kernel: [    0.000000] Linux version 4.10.0-21-generic 

Please retest with Ubuntu 17.04 and latest drm-tip.
