Hi Dhinakaran,

Cannot reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 17.04.

I plugged DP cable into Dell dock, and then powered on the laptop.
The connector was DP-4 at the beginning.
After I unplugged/re-plugged the cable, the connector became DP-5.
