IGT log

The dp-hpd chamelium subtest fails when executed with a DP MST hub. The test
consists of plugging/unplugging the connector in succession and checking that a
HOTPLUG=1 uevent is received each time. It works fine without a DP MST hub.

The two DP connectors of the Chamelium are connected to a 3-to-1 DP MST hub
that is connected to the DP-2 port of the machine. After pushing the SCAN
button on the hub, the new connectors are enumerated as DP-3 and DP-4. The test
is then executed and it fails to detect the first connector plug, through the
MST hub (see igt log and dmesg attached).

Information about the setup:
* Kernel: drm-tip c52f5322612a688655751c4dd44baa43e39d4dec
* Distro: Arch Linux (NOT using the distro's kernel)
* CPU: i5-6600K
