While I haven't looked at the Taichi's driver, I highly doubt that, as the
brightness setting protocol for the devices mentioned in *this* thread appears
to involve low level (OLED technology specific) commands.

By the way - I'm new to Freedesktop's Bugzilla so I'm wary to change things,
but is the reporter really who this bug should be assigned to?
