Hi, sorry for my silence, was too busy.
I had no confirmed GPU hangs since the kernel update. There were a few crashes
but those probably were hibernate-to-disk related. I did not have time to
investigate properly.
Could you recommend some test to stress GFX subsystem (either within chrome or
not) so that I can provide conclusive answer to your question? I have just
installed fresh 4.9.6 kernel.
