Yann, please do not assign Xorg gpu hangs to mesa unless they reproduce with
the modesetting driver.

n780 at tuta.io, other users have found that changing to modesetting resolves gpu
hangs in Xorg.  Alternatively, you could install the tip of the
xf86-video-intel project.
