I'm just trying to send multi-channel audio to the receiver (plain PCM, not any
bitstream pass-through).  Playing a test file with 5 channels plus LFE just
gets the front left/right (and the receiver sees plain stereo audio).

I'm attaching the requested dmesg with drm.debug=14.
