I have send the patch to the list but so far no comments. Since the timeout was
previously set to 5000ms I don't see any problem with going back to this value. 
NOTE that this is NOT 100% reproducible for each test rather 1/10. It could
potentially be the case that the 2000ms timeout has never actually worked.
