Output of /sys/class/drm/card0/error

I am hitting what appears to be the same bug. My kernel is 4.11-rc3 - I do not
recall having this problem until 4.11-rcX.

My OS is openSUSE 42.2 KDE.

My graphics adapter is
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation 4th Gen Core
Processor Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:0416] (rev 06)

The pertinent dmesg output is
[drm] GPU HANG: ecode 7:0:0xf3cffffe, in plasmashell [1305], reason: Hang on
render ring, action: reset
[drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including
userspace.
[drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org against DRI ->
DRM/Intel
[drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right component if it's not
a kernel issue.
[drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so please always
attach it.
[drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error
drm/i915: Resetting chip after gpu hang
drm/i915: Resetting chip after gpu hang
drm/i915: Resetting chip after gpu hang
