I also just checked two televisions that I have (an old Sylvania 32" and a
newish Samsung 32").  Neither television allowed me to adjust the refresh rate
the same way my LG monitor did.  The Sylvania did not allow me to select
1920x1080i at all (it was not present in the drop down list).  The Samsung had
a 1920x1080i mode listed, but it would not allow me to adjust the refresh rate.
