Since dd19674bacba227ae5d3ce680cbc5668198894dc is for 4.12-rc, I have
back-ported the fix to version 4.11 of the kernel.

Built Fedora RPMs for it:
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/alonid/kernel-4.11-drmfix/, and
currently running it on my laptop.
