Tried dumping the bios with:

echo 1 > /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:02.0/rom
cat /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:02.0/rom

and with:

intel_bios_dumper

but all's I get is "Input/output error" and the following in the syslog:

... i915 0000:00:02.0: Invalid PCI ROM header signature: expecting 0xaa55, got
0xf581
