I'm having a similar issue here.

OS: Arch Linux (x86_64)

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4 Series Chipset
Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)

mesa 17.1.0-1

Linux myhost 4.11.3-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun May 28 10:40:17 CEST 2017 x86_64
GNU/Linux

I was playing a game (NFSIISE) while I got this, I remember making the game go
into windowed mode and then tile it to the right (I use i3wm), at that point my
machine just crashed and I had to do a hard reboot.

Please see the dmesg I'm attaching with the information about the crash.

If you think my issue is different, please let me know and I'll open a
different bug report.
