Hi

Same issue here on HP EliteBook Folio G1 (m5-6Y54) with Linux 4.14 on Kubuntu
17.10. Error message in dmesg in the same.

Unless i915.enable_rc6 is disabled, screen is flicker when power adapter is
detached.
