/sys/class/drm/card0/error dump
After coming back to my locked laptop (Xubuntu 16.04) the screen was
unresponsive. SSHing in had this in dmesg:
[12352.526878] [drm] stuck on render ring
[12352.527343] [drm] GPU HANG: ecode 8:0:0xbf746ffe, in Xorg [1157], reason:
Ring hung, action: reset
[12352.527345] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx
stack, including userspace.
[12352.527346] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org
against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[12352.527347] [drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right
component if it's not a kernel issue.
[12352.527348] [drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so
please always attach it.
