--- Comment #124 from Peter Frühberger <fritsch at xbmc.org> ---
After gathering some feedback from LE and kodi users it seems, like that:

- it works in general, but
- if you use "Adjust Refreshrate to match video", a kodi setting to basically
call xrandr -r $fps" of video, then HBR does not work and even seems to confuse
the complete ELD / audio output (reboot is needed).
- it seems that this also somehow kills the "speaker mapping", on my setup for
example the LFE is then output on the RR, you can verify this with:
speaker-test -c8 -s 8 -D plughw:0,3 (works as it should, but after getting
"confused" LFE ends somewhere).

I think we should track this on a separate issue, right?

@Subhransu: As you test with kodi and also on Ubuntu, could you please enable
this setting? It's under "Settings -> Player", it is called: "Adjust display
refresh rate" and can be toggled enabled.

Sidenote: Don't enable the setting below it "Sync playback to display" as this
would disable PT right away, as Audio would be resampled so that we can nicely
clock with vertical blank sync.
