Bug description:

System environment:
-- chipset: Kabylake
-- system architecture: 64-bit
-- xf86-video-intel: compiled for 1.18.4, module version = 2.99.917
-- xserver: 1:7.7+13ubuntu3
-- mesa: OpenGL version string: 3.0 Mesa 11.2.0
-- libdrm: 2.4.83-1~16.04.1
-- kernel: 4.16.0-rc7
-- Linux distribution: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS
-- Machine or mobo model: Intel Corporation Kabylake Client platform/Skylake Y
LPDDR3 RVP3
-- Display connector: Display Port

Reproducing steps:

- Connect Display Port monitor to the device
- Boot the testing device
- Choose the Display Port output device in sound settings as
  "HDMI/Display Port 2 Stereo"
- Play any 48 KHz, 2 Ch, 16 bit using the music player
- Go to display settings
- Change the monitor resolution continuously ( Especially change across
1280x1024, 1280x720 )
- At some point, distorted noisy audio will be heard on DP monitor.

Recovery :

- To change to some other resolution again.

Probability :

- In average, the issue can be reproduced at 3 - 5 mins. If you are lucky, the
issue may come quickly. Disabling the DRM logs enables the reproducibility of
the issue easier.

Additional info:

- The issue can be reproduced consistently at two resolutions 1280x1024,
1280x720.

- Two patches from Skylake audio drivers are taken to reproduce the issue

0001-ASoC-hdac_hdmi-WA-to-allow-Jack-report.patch - WA patch to enable the
sequence of resolution change since PulseAudio is not properly stopping and
starting the stream.
 0002-ASoC-Intel-Skylake-Reset-stream-to-link-mapping.patch - Fix for the
proper stream to link mapping in Skylake audio controller.

- Attached the dmesg and intel_audio_dump info on the problematic and
non-problematic cases.
