dmesg, drm-tip with fix applied

I can confirm that drm-tip fixed with this patch boots properly on my Latitude
5590. The attached kernel log shows a boot with the internal display panel and
an external monitor connected through both VGA and HDMI connectors. I have no
USB C devices so I cannot test that one.
