There is a chance that you have connected the HDMI to a different port, than
the LSPCON HDMI port. Also when I had a look at the dmesg logs attached, I
could not see any logs from I915 driver.

Can you please confirm on this (and share another complete dmesg logs):
- drm logs are enabled (drm.debug=0x0e) ? 
- I915 driver is loaded ? 
- you are connecting to right HDMI port ?
