Yes, it is the case, so Chris’ patch should be applied in my opinion.
As another data point, on a TUXEDO Book BU1406 with Kaby Lake (HD Graphics 620
[8086:5916]) current Linux 4.17-rc2 takes 37855 μs according to
`initcall_debug` with tracing for `bootgraph.py` enabled, and 28027 μs without
tracing, which is close to your result. It’s still too much in my opinion.
